WAKW, now the new STAR 93.3, is honored to partner with the Arington Foundation for their 2008 Clark-Theders Insurance / Arington Foundation Golf Classic presented by United Church Builders. Each year, the Arington Foundation organizes this fun event to raise funds for selected local non-profit organizations. For 2008, the Arington Foundation has selected STAR 93.3 as the sole recipient. We feel incredibly honored that they would agree with our mission as a station and ministry, and support us in such a monumental way.
This Golf Classic will take place at TPC River's Bend, a world-class golf course owned and operated by the PGA Tour. TPC River's Bend has been named a Golf Digest "Top 10 Best New Private Course in America" and "Best in State".
Your participation will help support STAR 93.3, YOUR station that is encouraging, uplifting and changing lives in Greater Cincinnati. You can participate by having your organization choose a sponsorship for the event, you can organize a foursome, or you're welcome to participate as an individual. Following are the details on how you can help support STAR 93.3 while enjoying a day on the green:
- Date: Monday, May 12, 2008
- Time: 11:00 am shotgun start (registration begins at 9:30 am)
- Location: TPC River's Bend
- Format: Four-person scramble
- Foursome Participating Cost: $2000
- Participating Sponsorship Cost: $3000 (includes foursome and hole sponsorship)
- Hole Sponsorship Cost: $250
- Registration Deadline: submitted by Saturday, May 3, 2008
- Beneficiary: STAR 93.3
The Participating Sponsorship package includes: a foursome; a hole sponsorship; special recognition at the awards dinner; and four additional seats at the dinner. Participating Sponsors and Hole Sponsors may be permitted to distribute information regarding their organization at registration.
If, as a Participating Sponsor or Hole Sponsor, you would like your information printed on a sign appearing at a tee box, please email that information to info@arington.org. If you would like for your organization's logo to appear on the sign, please attach that logo as an .eps (EPS), .ai (AI), or .jpg (JPEG) file with a resolution of 300 dpi.
The Deadline for Participating Sponsorship is May 3, 2008.

Please note that all checks should be made payable to The Arington Foundation (AF). The Foundation is a tax-exempt organization, and you will receive a receipt from AF indicating how much of your payment will count as a charitable deduction for your tax return.
